Quick Notice — DnDungeon has launched!
A big bundle of free maps, a bunch of announcements, and future prospects
Good morning, gamemasters. I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving. As prophesied a mere two weeks prior, we’re finally live! DnDungeon has launched.
Last week, I re-launched my old tactical battlemap project as DnDungeon, alongside a suite of new maps, a work-in-progress total conversion for the Dungeondraft cartography tool, and a bunch more. If you’re not already a patron & you’re into tactical gridded combat, it is my strong personal opinion that you should enter the DnDungeon.
Ah, but I won’t shill without bringing gifts. So I made a huge pack of 80 free maps for you! Classics taken from my archives given new life mixed with brand-new works of art. Try them out! Throw ‘em in your VTT, print ‘em for your table.
Everyone who’s been subscribing lately has been getting the download for this pack in their welcome emails, but I especially wanted to let the older readers know that you can get these now! Let me know what you think. And if you like ‘em, I’d quite appreciate your support.
I’m also looking at getting some other projects out soon; I’ve got this weird experimental system I’ve been running test campaigns with for the last few months. I somehow crunched all the rolls down into a single 2d6-ish Save mechanic & the result is pretty interesting in play — although it might just be my dice obsession.
I’ve also made an entirely unrelated asset kit for Dungeondraft, release pending some polish. I’m tentatively calling it the Home Architect Pack 2 ( a sequel to the original, see below) Here’s some fancy spaceship maps for you that I made with it.
Oh, that last one isn’t a spaceship at all! But I’m sure you won’t mind.
Anyways, we’ll see once it’s done. In the meantime, if you’ve got Dungeondraft, you can download its predecessor, the original Home Architect Pack, for free below!
Now, back to our regularly scheduled not-advertising. Thanks for reading. More nonsense soon to come.
